Objectives of the Position
The position is responsible for Raw Material Planning in BSC. Raw Material Requirement Planning is driven by demand forecasts with MRP system. The role is to ensure the supply of raw materials of right product, right timing, and right quantity to meet BSC production plan with optimal inventory.
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
- Perform strong raw material supply functions and materials availability by closely working with demand planning, production, and procurement etc.
- Monitor delivery status of raw material based on which timely reflect into raw material planning data and trigger expedite or postponement request accordingly.
- Accountable for responsible raw material inventory management to ensure healthy inventory level and achieve the inventory target.
- Perform regular performance reviews on suppliers’ delivery and drive improvements.
- Alert potential shortage for further risk mitigation plan.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction through the adoption of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics etc.
- Evaluate and select suitable digital tools, platforms, and solutions to enhance supply chain visibility, collaboration, and decision-making.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain or Information Systems
- Working Experience: 3-5 years above
